It always seems impossible until it is done -Nelson Mandela- I just watched the new season of #youcantaskthat tonight on the ABC which interviewed people of African backgrounds and got them to address stereotypical questions on being African such as - Did you grow up in a hut? Do African men have big appendages? Do Africans just drive taxis๐? Is it okay for people to randomly touch your hair/skin? The show had a wide selection of people from different ethnic backgrounds and ages in different parts of Australia with different life experiences which was awesome ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ. Their answers, demeanour etc...
Do you read bed time stories for your little ones?ย At what age did you start reading to them?ย I started reading bedtime stories for Mr Losika when he was probably about 3-4 months of age and was able to focus on some picture books and listen to my voice. Since then we have grown in leaps and bounds and he is now reading grade 1 books despite not yet starting formal school. It is amazing to see him learning new words and appreciating the stories as they come alive from his many books.ย Losika Writes is currently working on...
